ESA Adds Subcontractor Search Benefit

The agreement connects the security industry association with a national labor sourcing marketplace.

The Electronic Security Association (ESA) has partnered with nFACT Inc. to help security and life safety integrators find subcontractors across the United States, according to a press release from ESA.

The agreement makes nFACT ESA’s preferred technology partner for subcontractor searches. Its platform includes a database of more than 24,000 service providers working in security, fire and life safety, audiovisual, electrical, telecommunications, network infrastructure and building management.

Through the partnership, verified ESA members will receive an association badge on their nFACT profiles. Companies employing technicians trained and certified by ESA may display an additional badge recognizing those credentials.

ESA said the benefit is intended to address difficulties integrators face when seeking subcontractors. A 2025 workforce survey from the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) found that 45% of construction companies experienced project delays because of shortages among their employees or subcontractors.
