Boon Edam Plans Biometric Entrance Displays

GSX demonstrations will pair turnstiles and security doors with fingerprint, facial and iris authentication.

Boon Edam Inc. plans to demonstrate entrance security systems integrated with biometric and access control technology at booth 2633 at GSX 2026.

The systems will include optical turnstiles, revolving doors and interlocking portals designed to detect unauthorized entry, tailgating or piggybacking.

A Speedlane Compact optical turnstile will be paired with IDEMIA MorphoWave, a contactless fingerprint reader that scans multiple fingerprints as a user moves a hand over the device.

The company will also display its Circlelock interlocking portal with Alcatraz Rock facial authentication and an Iris ID reader. The configuration uses facial and iris recognition at different points of entry.

Another demonstration will pair the Tourlock 180 revolving door with the Alcatraz Rock X facial authentication system. The entrance supports simultaneous movement in multiple directions while monitoring for tailgating and piggybacking.

Boon Edam will also display a Turnlock full-height turnstile mounted on a movable steel base. Its BE Secure overhead system uses artificial intelligence and measurement sensors to detect two people attempting to enter a compartment with one credential.

A Lifeline Speedlane Swing turnstile with a standard card reader will also be included. The demonstrations cover fixed entrances, mobile units and systems intended for temporary or outdoor sites.
